Death of A Mistress

An uneasy death

comes in seasons

when her fastidious soul

refuses sleep.

A long,

insidious death

kisses the last

colorless drool

on his lover’s lips.

Brief moments

of loneliness come

from thoughts swelling

in the invisible

darkness of night-

the dreary, lifeless,

uneven blackness

in the absence of light-

hearted matrimony.

  1. A powerful message on poetic wheels. No marriage thrives under such circumstance and in this poem, you’ve highlighted this truth. Thanks for sharing this poem.
